**About the role**

This diverse role will support Babcock Australasia Corporate, Defence and Aviation business units driving key procurement function activities, business governance and compliance, process improvement initiatives, and identification of savings opportunities to support business objectives.

Some key responsibilities would include supplier relationship management, including on boarding of suppliers, PO creation for Corporate Services, procurement and supply chain risk management, ownership of the Contract Management software, identification and driving savings opportunities, ERP master data management, Procurement Category spend analytics and company reporting across a number of areas including Modern Slavery and ESG initiatives.

**About You**

You will be experienced in a professional procurement environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

You consider yourself detailed oriented and capable at thinking outside the square to find innovative solutions that overcome obstacles and challenges.

Having good analytical skills and ERP knowledge across P2P is essential, supplier management and sourcing experience would be advantageous.

You will also hold:

- Bachelor/Masters in Business, Commence, Law, Finance or similar acquired within the past 2 years (preferred)
- CIPS member (preferred)
- Strong MS Office skills
