**About the role**
The **Corporate Procurement Manager** is responsible for the design, development, implementation and sustainability of corporate procurement strategies. The incumbent’s role is to facilitate the establishment of cross-functional teams, providing the infrastructure, climate and support necessary for these teams to operate effectively and to ensure the effective execution of approved category strategies, which must be aligned to Babcock’s business objectives.
**About you**
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director Corporate, you will hold extensive experience in a similar procurement role bringing proven supply base management and strategic sourcing skills. You will have a solid understanding of contract law, with exposure to highly complex contracts, ideally ASDEDCON and be proficient in procurement policies, processes and procedures related to category management. You are an effective leader and motivator to be able to lead and empower teams to collaboratively work and partner with all levels of the business.
