Food Production Supervisor/manager

We’re looking for two enthusiastic, self-motivated, and qualified Production Supervisors to join our team working in permanent, full-time roles on the below two shifts;
**Tuesday & Saturday - 2pm-10pm**

**Wednesday & Sunday - 9am-10pm**

These roles report directly to our Warehouse at Botany, NSW.

Alongside the daily running of production and team leadership, this role will have exposure to a range of projects and continuous improvement initiatives - we're looking for someone who really thrives on a challenge, proactively seeks new opportunities, and who is all about thinking outside the box

**What you'll be responsible for?**
- Promoting and driving the behavioral safety agenda with the supervisory team and actively participating in proactive safety activities
- Providing direction, leadership, support, and guidance to all key stakeholders
- With the support of the SLT, taking ownership of daily and weekly manufacturing performance to meet site KPIs
- Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes
- Oversee the hiring and training of food production personnel
- Ensure manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety
- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations
- Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets
- Supporting strategic initiatives across the site to ensure a balanced and effective approach for both the business and the needs of employees
- Managing unplanned downtime by ensuring efficient equipment operation and preventative maintenance
- Driving and supporting continuous improvement activity throughout the factory
- Effectively maintain working relationships with relevant unions

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Food Production Supervisory role
- Proven experience in leading and engaging teams
- Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes
- Demonstrated experience supporting CI events, and managing projects and timelines
- Experience delivering budget results
- Positivity and a solutions-focused approach
- nothing is ever a problem
- Essential previous Riteq time & attendance experience
- Proven work experience in Food Production
- Knowledge of MS Office proficiency
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
