**YMCA Vocational School: Parkinson Senior Campus** is recruiting a **Teacher (Curriculum Development)** on a **Permanent, Full-Time Basis** located in **Parkinson, QLD.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As the Teacher (Curriculum Development), you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Curriculum in quality assurance in curriculum delivery as well as development of innovative and differentiated teaching, learning and assessment plans for our students. You will also be involved in providing remote and onsite support across the faculty in different campuses.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Support the planning and alignment of quality teaching, learning and assessment programs consistent with curriculum, syllabi and relevant educational policies, procedures and frameworks
- Support the implementation of Art and Science of Teaching (ASOT) teaching and learning principles with staff
- Support the delivery of operational and strategic initiatives with the Curriculum Team
- Support staff in the planning and implementation of inclusive curriculum differentiation strategies including Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA)
- Collaborate with teaching staff in moderation of student assessments for quality assurance of results awarded to assessment instruments
- Support staff in implementing Literacy and Numeracy improvement strategies including data collection, analysis and evaluation
- Support teachers with Academic Reporting processes
Coordinate staff training and implementation of NAPLAN online
- Support administration processes in the QCAA Portal
- Collaborate with the Head of Curriculum to develop and facilitate role-specific professional development to teachers regarding pedagogy, curriculum, moderation, and reporting processes
- Work successfully in a small team and within the school’s philosophy and ethos to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes
- Collaborate with and support broader YMCA and School-wide programs
- Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to safeguarding children and young people and the Safeguarding code of conduct

You will also meet the following selection criteria:

- Hold a relevant Bachelor degree, current Queensland Teacher Registration, First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications
- Practical experience with diverse an inclusive curriculum development and implementation
- Extensive teaching knowledge and effective student assessment
- The ability to understand the educational, wellbeing and vocational objectives and appropriately put together a strategic and meaningful assessment plan
