**Role Description/Criteria**
**Role Description**
- Provide educational leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of the teaching and learning practices of Information Technology at St. Paul Apostle South School
- Ensure that Information and Communication Technology aspects of the School Improvement
- Plan and yearly Action Plan are implemented and sustained.
- Ensure that all planning is based upon the Learning Centred Schools - Sacred Landscape Strategy and is also aligned with the 2011- 2015 Directions for Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
- Develop a Scope and Sequence P-6 for IT which is integrated across all levels
- Update the IT policy for the school.
- Coordinate the provision of Professional Learning for staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to implement IT across the curriculum.
- Assume the role of the SINA Administrator
- Liaise with the Southern Region Key Person & ICON coach as required.
- Be an active member of the ICON team and manage the Professional Learning associated with ICON implementation preparation.
- Ensure that all staff and students have signed agreed usage forms and that all forms are retained securely and updated each year.
- Maintain and co-ordinate the use of the ‘Student Portal’ and ‘Teacher Portal’ site until the implementation of ICON.
- Maintain and co-ordinate the continuous updating of the school website.
- Manage and maintain student learning and parent communication sites (e.g. Skoolbag, Seesaw, Facebook Page)
- Co-ordinate the maintenance of the computer network by liaising with Tobin Computing.
- Manage the IT budgets for hardware, software, consumables and professional development

- Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment for yourself and others and comply with all safe work policies and procedures
- Maintain currency of first aid, mandatory reporting and anaphylaxis training
- Attend pro-rata staff meetings, professional learning opportunities and relevant after school activities as required
- Participate in duty supervision as rostered and other supervision duties when required
- Demonstrate professional and collegiate relationships with colleagues
- Uphold the professional standards expected of a teacher
