**Role Summary**:
The Government Relations Advisor is a Government Relations Team based at our Perth Forrest Centre site. This role is being offered as a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- The Government Relations Advisor is responsible for providing timely, accurate and relevant information to the Minister of Energy in response to queries raised related to Synergy’s operations including customer related enquiries and position on matters.
- Required to draft and facilitate clearance of parliamentary questions on notice, general queries, and requests for information from key government stakeholders.
- Develop and draft briefing notes to the Minister for Energy on matters related to Synergy.
- Manage the relationships with internal SMEs to ensure the timely flow of accurate information that meets the needs of key stakeholders.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary Qualification or experience ideally in a related discipline, such as public policy, government, corporate affairs, law, public relations etc.
- Experience in a government-facing role, such as government relations, corporate affairs, customer service or electorate officer.
