Are you passionate about helping young people grow, connect, and reach their full potential? At **Lutheran Services**, we are seeking a dedicated **Youth Mentor** to join our team.
**_ Location: Intercept, Caboolture - QLD _**
**_Employment Type: Full Time (Mon to Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)_**
**_Remuneration: $35.27 - $45.47 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging_**

Part of **Lutheran Services**, **Intercept** at **Caboolture** is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides early intervention and prevention services for young people and their families in the Moreton Bay region.
**Intercept** deliverers targeted support programs, unique to young people and their families’ individual circumstances, that support them to achieve their goals/improve quality of life. Underpinning our evidence-based service design are our Lutheran Services values and Model of Care and Service. Our team is warm and friendly and we live our values at work every day.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
In this full-time role, you'll provide one-on-one mentoring and small group support to young individuals, including those with disabilities, to build independence, interpersonal skills, and engagement in education and community.
- Deliver tailored mentoring sessions and small group interventions
- Support young people to set and achieve goals through strength-based approaches
- Work flexibly using outreach and community-based models
- Engage with families, schools, and local networks to create strong support systems
- Promote inclusion and capacity-building for clients with diverse needs
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with team leaders and case managers
**What You’ll Bring**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with young people and/or those with disability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Current Blue Card and QLD Driver’s Licence
- (Desirable) Relevant tertiary qualifications in human services or related field
