**About the role**

Reporting to the Manager Risk and Quality Assurance and working in collaboration with other business risk advisors across the Group, the role will see you lead the first line risk advisory and assurance team within the Member and Community Engagement Division.

The position is based at our office in Eight Miles Plain with hybrid flexible working options on offer to support a true work/life balance, creating more time for the people and things in your life that mean the most to you.

**About you**

The role is well suited to a process-driven individual with high attention to detail and excellence in client service. You will build strong internal stakeholder relationships and foster a positive risk culture which enhances decision-making across the business.

To be successful in the role, ideally you will also possess the following:

- 3 - 5 years relevant experience working in risk, audit or governance roles, preferably within the financial services sector and some leadership experience.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of risk management systems and frameworks.
- Engaging, supportive and collaborative attitude.
- Critical analysis of problems to uncover hidden insights
- An enquiring mind and inquisitive nature to bore into issues, practices, or organisations regardless of obstacles.
- Developing knowledge of insurance operations, and regulatory environments.
- Experienced in continuous improvement coaching, facilitation and advocacy.
