Design systems designer
We are seeking a talented and experienced User Interface (UI) Product Designer to join our team. As a UI Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products (Web + App).
Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing intuitive user experiences, ensuring a seamless interaction between our customers and our products.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and product designers, to understand product requirements and translate them into exceptional UI designs.
- Design and build a comprehensive design system that establishes visual consistency and enhances the overall user experience across our product portfolio.
- Develop and maintain UI components, style guides, documentation and design patterns to be used across various digital platforms and devices.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance our design processes and deliver cutting-edge user experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2-3 years of professional experience as a UI Product Designer, preferably in a fast-paced digital product development environment (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in creating visually appealing and intuitive UI designs, with a focus on user-centered design principles.
- Proven experience in designing and building a comprehensive design system or design library that encompasses reusable UI components, style guides, and design patterns.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to adapt designs for various screen sizes and devices.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) and their impact on UI design implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
