High profile Top ASX Listed business is embarking on a state-of-the-art Data Transformation and looking for a Data Governance & Master Data Manager to join their team This is a newly created role and you will have a chance to shape the DG and MDM frameworks and establish MDM framework and governance principles.

**What you will be responsible for and what experience is required to be successful**:

- You will be responsible for defining and enabling an active and modern data governance framework and processes, including managing the deployment of appropriate Data Catalog and MDM platforms.
- Develop and administer the MDG framework and processes.
- SME in developing master data structures, naming conventions, business rules, and stakeholder engagement to increase trust in data and ensure any changes to data are appropriately administered so Data Owners understand the upstream and downstream impacts of any changes made to the data they manage.
- Work with the business and the implementation team (IT Systems) in order to ensure the business processes and the data are aligned to be mastered, assuring quality, compliance and operating procedures.
- Work with the IT systems team to monitor and maintain the status of the system used for processing master data business requirements
- You will drive the development of data governance and MDM framework, policies and principles, dictionary, data landscape, data owners, business rules and conventions/definitions and promote change management where data sets are in conflict.
- Functional support to data owners to develop plans to cleanse, standardise, simplify, and manage changes to master data across all key pillars of master data within Customer, Supplier, and Financials
- Provide timely and concise reports/presentations to the Project Steercos & Senior stakeholders on the status of data governance, data privacy, changes to master data etc.

**What you will bring to be successful**:

- Worked in large complex Enterprise Data environments
- Strong experience with MDM, data frameworks, change management, and data quality strategies.
- Developed and Administered MDM & DG frameworks & Processes
- Experience with implementing data catalogue, master data platforms and promoting the use of these platforms for increased data literacy
- Strong experience working across core data capabilities such as data quality, reporting and analytics, and master data management
- Working knowledge of Cloud ERP systems, e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle etc.
