Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Governance Specialist located in North Sydney, NSW. The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include data quality assessment, metadata management, data cataloging, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data governance best practices are integrated across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Data quality risk assessment, metadata management, and data cataloging skills
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and data security standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the infrastructure or utilities sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
