The Group ensures that data is managed at a whole-of-enterprise level along the full value chain from the observations network through to the high-performance computation needed to generate forecasts and downstream products and services. The Group also supports the delivery of products and services to customers through a range of digital channels, with a focus on user-centred designs that respond to customer needs. The Data Program is part of the Data and Digital Group (DDG) and is responsible for: - enterprise data governance and advice, - planning for data and observations, - enhancing data integrity and quality, and - data services to meet customer requirements. The** Data Governance Specialist** will have Data Governance & Data Management experience and will be able to: - lead the development of key artifacts (policies and standards) that underpin the operation of the Data Governance Office and its compliance functions. - assist in the creation of a compliance and oversight function within the Bureau to help uplift data management and governance within the Bureau. - work across the enterprise to develop data governance systems which drive continual improvement of IT and data solutions. - articulate, demonstrate and implement technical and applied data practices and guidance (i.e. show "how it is done" and do it where necessary) - define bodies of work and assess effort required (resources and timeframes) for project delivery. **How to register**: - Forgotten Your Login Details? click here and follow the steps. - Preview Application Form Opens in new window
