Macquarie Locksmiths has been operating since 1981 in the northern suburbs of Sydney. We have several vans on the road servicing the Sydney metropolitan area (mainly the northern suburbs and inner west), as well as a busy shop located in North Ryde/Macquarie Park. Our clients include commercial premises, strata and property management companies, residential property owners & tenants and a range of schools and other institutions.

We are a friendly family-run business and offer an excellent work environment and we are looking for a qualified and experienced locksmith to join our busy team.

You will be **head tradesman**, assisting the business owner, workshop manager and other team members. You will also on occasion assist with training our apprentices. The position will require you to be on the road most weekdays 8am - 5pm. Occasionally you may be required to work in our workshop serving customers. Flexible work arrangements may be possible.

We have a fantastic and supportive team environment with a strong work ethic and are offering an excellent pay rate ($90,000 - $120,000 + negotiable based on skills & experience, plus super and bonus structure) and conditions including:

Duties will generally include:

- on-road duties (lock repairs, installations, restricted key systems, door closers, access control, digital locks etc)
- key-cutting
- perform workshop duties and attend to customer sales and/or queries
- electronic access control and on occasion, supply & install CCTV systems
- creating restricted key systems in PM8

Applicants must be:

- qualified as a locksmith
- well-presented and self-motivated
- hold a security licence and police check
- hold a driver's licence (automatic)
- hold a white card
- be permitted to work in Australia
- experience with automotive is a plus but not essential
