**Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician/ Automation Technician**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the efficiency of equipment through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance plans.
- Report performed activities and system performances to the Customer and E80 Group.
- Foster strong relationships between the Customer and E80 Group based on trust, technical results, and reliability.
- Serve as the point of contact for problem-solving, organizing on-site and remote operations, and managing the supply and delivery of spare parts.
- Participate in periodic meetings with customer representatives.
- Report anomalies and corrective actions to E80 Group.
- Conduct on-the-job training for the Customer's personnel on equipment and processes.
- Promote improvement activities, modifications, and system or equipment extensions in collaboration with the Direct Manager and Area Manager.
- Manage spare parts inventory, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed.
- Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with required security documentation and safety standards.

**Technical Requirements**:

- Formal qualification in Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or Industrial Automation; or a relevant trade qualification
- Minimum two years experience as an automation, mechanical or electromechanical technician
- Experience within the automation industry preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Siemens PLC
- Experience in providing technical pre
- and post-sales support, including training and customer support.
- Ability to support quality assurance and product management in creating internal standards.

**Soft Skills Requirements**:

- Desire to make a difference and represent E80 Group positively in front of the Customer.
- Excellent communication skills and strong autonomy.
- Proactive with outstanding problem-solving abilities.
- Strong critical sense and curiosity in learning new technologies and managerial aspects.
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate stress resistance.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written)

**Required Experience**:

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in training and supporting customers
- Proven ability to independently derive appropriate measures in case of malfunctions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- electrical-mechanical troubleshooting: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- proper English (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
