- About the roleWe have embarked on a journey to become the best actuarial team across Australia. To succeed in our vision, we are looking for a dynamic individual to help influence and drive transformation and change, within the Valuation and Embedded Value team.
As a qualified actuary, you will support monthly profit reporting and drive the quarterly Economic Value, Economic Capital and Value of New Business submissions. The role will also assist with formal Board Reporting including the annual Financial Condition Report, Actuarial Valuation Report and Financial Statements. You will drive transformation initiatives and process improvements and provide mentoring and coaching of junior staff.
- Important to your success- Degree qualified, preferably in Actuarial Studies.
- Qualified actuary, with more than 3 years’ experience, within the Institute of Actuaries of Australia exams (or equivalent)
- Experience working in Life Insurance, ideally with exposure to Embedded Value and/or Valuation.
