Seeking Site Supervisor for national commercial construction company - initially commercial insurance projects

**Your new company**
Hays Construction is currently working with a nationally-recognised construction company, who have been operating for over 100 years and have recently started an office in Canberra. This family-owned business delivers design, construction and remedial projects across the eastern states of Australia. They have earned a reputation for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions in a variety of sectors including hospitality, health and ageing, education, aged-care, commercial, insurance and remedial. This company is known for high-quality workmanship and excellent customer relations. Their attention to detail sets them apart from other companies and is why they win repeat work from clients.

They have a several commercial insurance projects to deliver across Canberra and are looking for 2x exceptional Site Supervisors to oversee and deliver the works.

**Your new role**
As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing one or several jobs at any one time. You will:

- Supervise and coordinate contractors on site;
- Work closely with the Project Manager;
- Manage and deliver program on time;
- Ensure all WHS requirements are being upheld;
- Organise the procurement and delivery of materials; and
- Communication with all relevant stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- The ability to communicate effectively and get the best out of trades;
- Be a high performing tradesperson with leadership capability;
- Ability to problem solve, interpret detailed drawings and buildability;
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to adapt to systems and processes
- Experience on variety of commercial projects
