About the opportunity

The Co-ordinator Patient Support Unit (PSU) is responsible for supporting and engaging

with stakeholders to facilitate work from the PSU teams, to deliver rapid prioritisation and assessment of patients on planned surgery, and outpatient preparation lists across both Werribee Mercy Hospital (WMH) and Mercy Hospital for Women (MHW).

The Co-ordinator PSU reporting directly to Divisional Director Perioperative & Specialist Services

What you’ll bring- Demonstrated experience in data systems to support timely reporting and governance- Demonstrated experience in leading change- Experience with managing project within a healthcare service- Experience interacting with patients and managing patient feedback- Knowledge of administrative process within the surgical and ambulatory services- Ability to understand and describe business processes in the healthcare context- Experience working within a multi-stakeholder environment including capacity to engage and influence at all levels

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
