BAA has a well-integrated global supply chain with suppliers located in Asia, Europe, the USA and of course Australia. Our warehouse is home to over 10,000 part numbers which are received, put away and kitted to support the production line.

We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Warehouse/Materials Management Manager in our Supply Chain team located in Port Melbourne.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Supervises and integrates employee’s activities across one or more areas in materials management including receiving, putaway, warehousing, kitting and dispatch.
- Provides oversight and guidance for warehousing processes and standard work, including inventory control, management of FIFO (First In First Out) and SLED (Shelf Life Expiry Date).
- Provides guidance for processes and technical approaches.
- Develops and executes project and process plans.
- Implements policies and procedures in support of daily operational responsibilities.
- Sets operational goals for continuous improvement.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is advantageous although not essential.
- Experience in a relevant front-line management position, warehousing experience required.
- Leadership and team building skills developed in Lead or Manager positions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in process development and improvement, team engagement and KPI management.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- SAP knowledge and experience required.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defense security requirements.
