As an integral part of a small, collegiate warehouse team based in Port Melbourne for a period of 18 months, you will work closely with other warehouse assistants and report into the Kit Operations Manager. This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about what you do and committed to delivering high quality work demonstrating efficient warehouse practices.

**You’ll stand out from the crowd if you**:

- Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of warehousing principles
- Can demonstrate a solid understanding of inventory systems
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have a can-do attitude and thrive within a team environment

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Accurately and efficiently processing orders, shipments and dispatches
- Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
- Co-ordinating, monitoring and documenting all International/National and Local deliveries and collections in line with the Quality System
- Keeping all warehouse related filing up to date
- Participate in stock takes and weekly cycle counts on specified products
- Housing and distribution of all products in FIFO basis

**And to be successful we think you’ll need**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a warehousing role preferably in the medical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of at least year 10 maths (or equivalent)
- Additionally, a degree in warehousing, distribution or logistics will be highly regarded.
