About the Role

SGC Australia is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to support our Mining Services division. This role plays a key part in coordinating project activities, supporting tender and procurement processes, and ensuring the effective delivery of construction and maintenance projects across multiple mining sites.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar coordination role within mining, construction, or heavy industry, and demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare project estimates, quotes, and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.

• Forecast and plan labour resources to meet project schedules and operational needs.

• Coordinate procurement, logistics, and delivery of materials and equipment for site operations.

• Prepare and maintain work packs, HSE documentation, and quality records for project execution.

• Manage client timesheet capture, approvals, and reporting to support invoicing and cost control.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Previous experience in a coordination role within mining services, construction, or heavy industry

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organisation

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience with workforce management systems, project management tools, or document control platforms (such as SharePoint)

• Experience coordinating multi-discipline services such as civil, mechanical, and electrical works in mining environments

• Knowledge of ISO quality systems, HSE reporting, and compliance documentation
