**About the role**:
This position provides administrative support to our busy department, particularly in the dispensary and procurement areas. You will provide a front counter customer service role for some parts of your day, greeting patients and staff and accepting prescriptions for processing. You will also undertake general administrative tasks for the department, including assisting with departmental reporting functions, invoice entry and raising of purchase orders for stationery and consumables, co-ordination of document management, archiving Pharmacy paperwork, maintenance requests, non-pharmaceutical billing, organising and booking venues for meetings, processing of incoming mail and acting as a point of contact for Pharmacy administrative queries. You will manage departmental equipment registers and assist with the maintenance and replacement of our equipment.

In addition to general admin tasks, you will support our Operational Deputy with effective organisation and co-ordination of recruitment, onboarding and WHS activities and the preparation, publishing and maintenance of departmental rosters, leave and payroll processing. Our admin staff are supported by a senior administration officer and the Deputy Services Manger - Operations. You will also provide secretarial duties for hospital and pharmacy meetings and oversee other administration staff as required.

**About you**:

- You will be experienced in the provision of administration services, with a qualification or documented experience to support this.
- You will ideally have assisted in payroll processing.
- A background in health or public health experience would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite.
