**Job description**:
We currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance Assistant to be part of a hands on and fast paced environment.

There is no requirement to be fully trade qualified, however it would be advantageous.

Although direct experience is useful, this is a development role for someone looking to learn but that does have an understanding of repairs and maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting tradesman undertaking Mechanical & Electrical repairs and installation works
- Undertaking minor repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Engineering Supervisors.
- Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance inspections
- Liaising with Engineering Team Leaders regarding plant or equipment failures
- Completing report sheets as necessary
- Following planned maintenance schedules
- Using all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
- Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the grade
