**You will be responsible for**:

- Driving new client acquisition across targeted industry sectors, referral networks and sponsor/channel partner relationships
- Developing and maintaining a new business pipeline by actively prospecting, cold calling, following up leads, identifying and qualifying opportunities and closing the sale.
- Delivering or exceeding growth targets
- Ensuring long term profitable revenue growth
- Participating in tender responses and building relationships to ensure Gallagher are invited to Tender

**To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who has**:

- Experience in a sales role, preferably within the Insurance industry would be highly regarded
- Previous accountability for a new business target, with evidence of exceeding sales targets and the ability to deliver results consistently
- Strong influencing and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive internal and external relationships at all levels and with all industries
- Outcome focused to deliver exceptional business results with mínimal supervision
- Tier 1 Insurance broking qualifications (AU) or willingness to undertake
