Position Summary
End to end Inventory Management of Consumables, Spare Parts and Demo including planning, purchasing, monitoring, expediting and delivery as well as managing lead times in accordance with Customer demand.
Major Responsibilities
Ensuring materials are available when required and planning inventory requirements to achieve OTD, Inventory turns and Productivity targets.
Review customer demand against inventory levels and ensure appropriate purchase orders are maintained /issued to Business Units, to enable customer delivery while maintaining inventory at safety stock levels and with mínimal obsolescence.
Place orders on Business Units for Demo Instruments, Spare parts and Consumables purchases.
Liaise with Business Units, Freight forwarders, Customer Care Coordinators, Service Administrators, TAC Manager and Engineers to ensure materials are available in a timely manner.
Work closely with Warehousing to maintain accurate stock locations across Australia and New Zealand
Process Customs Declaration forms and escalate materials to be returned to BU & follow up with Business Units on Credit.
Liaise with Sales to ensure special pricing is uploaded and maintained in accordance with business requirements
Run various SAP reports to assist with Sales and Field Service Engineer support (ie stock replenishment reports).
Manage import permits including renewals and maintain MSDS for Australia and New Zealand.
Manage Supplier quality in terms of RMAs, DRNs and Business Unit performance
Participate in stocktakes and conduct audits of warehousing.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in Daily Management to enhance Operations performance
Other activities as required to assist Customer Care
Compliance
Complete all Danaher Compliance Training Modules.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Follow safe EH&S practices.
Ensure all transactions processed in SAP meet compliance requirements.
**Experience/Skills**:
Previous experience in planning and material purchasing is highly desirable
High attention to detail
Strong decision-making ability
Proven organisational and planning skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle priorities
Proven experience in eProcurement/e-Sourcing Tools
Strong understanding of Kanban systems and purchasing tools
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, stakeholder management skills in order to navigate across different levels of the organizations
SAP experience is highly desirable
