We have an exciting new opportunity for an Ecommerce Specialist to join our Digital team based in our Brisbane Support Centre. Reporting to the Digital Trade Lead this role will be responsible for developing and executing all online sales strategies for the Michael Hill websites.
The Ecommerce Specialist will be customer centric whilst using data to increase traffic and conversion metrics across all devises, channels and touchpoints. Delivering actionable data and research lead recommendations and consistently looking to enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
**More about the opportunity**:
- Analyse customer data across multiple channels including cross-site conversion funnels, page analytics and site traffic metrics
- Develop and maintain site merchandising and conversion dashboards and reports, whilst identifying scope and opportunities to support growth
- Working cross-functionally within the Ecommerce, Marketing and Merchandising teams to assist in planning and executing engaging Ecommerce campaigns and initiatives
- Take ownership for sales, profit and conversion rates and identify consumer behaviour to increase future activities
**The successful applicant will ideally have**:
- Proven experience along with a strong passion and drive for Ecommerce trade and operations excellence
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to collate and convert data to actionable insights
- Experience in conducting user research including surveys, tests and heatmaps
- Demonstrated ability executing Ecommerce activities such as merchandising and campaign delivery
- Understanding in A/B Testing and Google Analytics
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, curious and innovative mindset
