Opportunity currently exists for a Wellness & Injury Management Advisor to join the Safety team based in our Campbellfield Factory. The Campbellfield factory produces confectionary brands such as Kit Kat, Nestlé, Milky Bar, Smarties, Aero, Chokito and many more which delight consumers worldwide.

In this full-time permanent role, the Wellness & Injury Management Advisor will manage all aspects of Workers compensation & Injury management with aim of improving effective rates for workers compensation premiums. Will develop, coordinate and drive our Wellness program and support the SHE team with small SHE projects.

**A day in the life
**Reporting to the Safety, Health & Environment(SHE) Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Ensure Nestlé injury management standards are implemented & maintained, while providing high quality injury management in line with Nestle Injury Management System.
- Implement and drive Wellness programs to increase positive health outcomes in line with Safety KPIs (reduction in RTW duration/incidents).
- Coordinate the rehabilitation process by negotiating, implementing and then monitoring each case.
- Promote and develop rehabilitation by building effective working relationships with employees, insurers, treaters and rehabilitation providers.
- Develop effective claim management strategies in conjunction with our Workers Compensation Insurer and relevant internal stakeholders to manage & mitigate individual claims and complex claims.
- Liaise with insurer in relation to independent medical assessment (IME's), circumstantial and surveillance investigations.
- Maintain incident database, supply reports regarding injury trends and statistics.
- Administer and manage the OHS database / payroll systems. Ensure that accurate and concise information is recorded, and legislative requirements are met.
- Maintain employee medical records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the sites health programs - the first aid operation (training and function) hearing tests & annual flu programs
- Active participation in the development of SHE departmental best practices and involvement with SHE team activities.

- Tertiary qualifications within the Allied Health or the Personal Injury industry and/or Work experience within the personal injury management or Workers Compensation industry
- 3+ years’ experience as an occupation rehabilitation provider or injury management advisor, ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex claims to completion.
- Demonstrated ability in providing safety and injury management consultancy and advice to people managers and team members within the organisation.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to engage with staff at all levels, easily building relationships and developing rapport.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
