For a National Manager Assurance and Quality to join the team at IntoWork Australia. This role can be based at our Northcote, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide offices, where you will lead a team dedicated to all aspects of risk quality and service improvement across all program lines of IntoWork Australia.

**The Role**:
The National Manager Assurance & Quality reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the development & implementation of a comprehensive Quality Framework. This position will support the achievement of IntoWork’s objectives by coordinating processes to ensure that IntoWork achieves and maintains ISO 9001 accreditation, along with other standards relevant to support high quality, safe and effective service delivery.
Key accountabilities include:
- Lead and implement a systematic approach to corporate governance, risk management and policy
- Work across all IntoWork businesses to develop and implement an integrated quality framework
- Lead and coordinate the process towards achievement and maintaining of ISO 9001 accreditation along with other standards relevant to support high quality and safe and effective service delivery
- Provide quality input to policies, procedures, guidelines and activities as required to ensure they remain relevant and current. The ongoing development and maintenance of best practice organisational Quality Management Framework that governs the quality management architecture
- Developing and delivering a compliance framework to meet Government contracted services requirements
- Support the Group Executives and the Board with the preparation of reports and documentation, whilst driving the outcomes of the meetings to ensure actions are appropriately assigned and completed
- Facilitating internal reviews within the businesses for development of recommendations for improvement in and business improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance and progress efficiency
- Lead quality reviews possibly engaging external auditors on areas of higher risk of the Group, for reports to the Executive group and the Board
- Managing internal policy framework, including process, tools, consultation requirements and approval processes
- Enhancing and monitoring a whole of organisation (continuous improvement) system for recording and tracking actions from comments and complaints, employee feedback, and Regulator feedback/direction
- Organise, facilitate and lead the review and analysis of incidents, conducting in depth investigation into serious events in collaboration with staff and senior leadership
- Working closely with all parts of the organisation to ensure that IntoWork meets accreditation/licensing requirements and is prepared for external accreditation/licensing reviews and audits
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in leading the delivery of ISO9001 accreditation across organisations. You will have exceptional team-leading skills and extensive experience in promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
**Related Experience, Skills & Competencies**:
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a similar role supporting delivery and compliance across contracted Australian Government services _(Employment Services and/or Australian Apprenticeship Support Services is highly regarded)_
- Demonstrated experience promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Proven track record in leading, implementing and managing quality, safety and risk management programs at the senior management level
- Experience in managing accreditation/review processes for accreditation programs such as ISO9001
- Proven ability to drive all facets of a QMS at all levels of an organisation
- An ability to lead, train and educate employees across all levels in the requirements of a Quality Management System
- Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement, benchmarking, and service standards as relevant to IntoWork
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the preparation of reports,briefs and educational materials
- Strong organisational and project management skills with an ability to work to timelines and be outcome focused whilst managing multiple tasks
- Proven track record in building teams and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders for the effective delivery of quality objective
