The Platform Specialist team is aligned to the most dynamic and exciting part of our business. As pre-sales engineers and architects, we partner with our customers to use Salesforce technology to drive digital transformation within their companies and support the sales team in winning new business. **Role Description**

**Your Impact - Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of Salesforce product offerings
- Understand the customer needs, establish salesforce leadership, and demonstrate SFDC’s products as the best solution that addresses the technical and business requirements
- Active contributor to the internal Technical Architect community by participating in calls, publishing reference architectures and creating decks and other reusable assets for technical topics
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
- Willing and able to travel to customers or Salesforce offices when safe and appropriate
- Be a force multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ success by providing technical guidance, career development and mentoring

**About you**
- Sales/Solution Engineering or equivalent experience (IT, product management, consulting, etc.) with position offered commensurate to experience and skills
- Excellent customer-facing written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments
- Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to support multiple, concurrent projects.
- Lifelong learner, inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.
- Keep current with both partner and competitive technologies in order to put proposed solutions into the context of the broader technology landscape.
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns include SOA, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, common integration patterns, etc.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Deep & practical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Salesforce Certifications and/or Trailhead Superbadges, or relevant work history
- Coding experience and a willingness to work with or demo code-centric solutions (APEX, Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or other modern languages)
