We currently have an exciting opportunity for a NPD leader to join our NPD Team based out of our Arndell Park site. This is a very exciting time for the business as we continue to grow and develop our current and future customer relationships with major supermarkets.

Reporting in to the NPD Manager, this role will see you provide guidance, support and direction to a team of Development Technologists in a range of areas to ensure quality and efficient delivery of projects.

Key tasks of this role include:

- Project Manage NPD/EPD launches for the business and manage the NPD process upon receipt of the brief.
- Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track projects and ensure timeline is met.
- Manage the day to day NPD functions through allocation of resourcing, problem solving and reporting to deliver concepts to an agreed quality and timescale
- Oversee and lead NPD concepts, development, costings, trials launches and post reviews
- Drive continuous improvement within Product Development team, processes and procedures
- Manage and use Product Development systems and ensure that all direct reports have the competence to utilise these systems appropriately
- Review and approve all relevant documentation for sample submissions to customers
- Actively participate in the presentations to customers

**About you**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced NPD leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to provide proactive and high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. This position would suit a passionate foodie with a strong understanding of emerging food and flavour trends in FMCG.
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role and leading teams
- Highly motivated and self-driven with outstanding attention to detail
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing a high performing team
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Visionary and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Curiosity for food and new product development
