The Opportunity

We are looking for a Civil Trade Assistant to join our newly created Civil business unit at CPP.

As business continues to grow at CPP in winning more and more crucial infrastructure projects, we will be further developing our in-house civil capability by building a core team of multi-skilled civil personnel to allow us to self-perform civil elements of projects. This is an exciting time for CPP, where the Civil department has been established to provide project delivery capability across crucial projects in South Australia.

Reporting to the Civil Manager, the Civil Trade Assistant will work closely with the team in the successful completion and delivery of onsite civil construction tasks. Bringing your experience in civil construction work, you will perform onsite construction activity tasks and ensure equipment and machinery are maintained in a safe and efficient manner.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Experience in civil construction work, particularly bulk earthworks and underground services
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Competent with the use of an excavator and skid steer operator
- Experience with the use of hand and power tools
- Strong communication skills
