**The Role**:
As a result of growth, we are looking for an experienced
**Trade Assistant** to join our mechanical trades team to service our customers based at Adelaide Airport.

This is a permanent opportunity offering full time hours, working rotating shifts.

**About the role**:

- Performing minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment, in a timely manner, within your skill level and experience under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson
- Pick-up and delivery of parts and other materials as required by the Workshop Supervisor or Leading Hand
- General yard/workshop cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Performing/Assisting with store duties and general tasks

**About you**:

- Experience working in a Trade Assistant position
- Current drivers licence required
- Forklift licence required
- Mechanical knowledge / Mechanical aptitude
- Basic welding experience is preferred
- Automotive experience preferred

**Recruitment Process**
As part of the role you will be required to gain Aviation Security Clearance, the recruitment process will therefore also require you to pass:

- Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol screening
- Federal Police Check
