Scarborough Veterinary Surgery is located in Redcliffe, in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area of Queensland, approximately a 40min easy drive north from Brisbane. **The Role**

This opportunity will suit an experienced, dynamic, and motivated practice manager who wants to make a real impact by ensuring our work flows well and our capacity to provide excellent patient care is maintained. This role is a full-time fixed term contract to cover our current Practice Manager’s 12-month maternity leave, with a start date towards the beginning of October 2025.

**Open to part-time or full time (30- 38 hours per week)**

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Managing the daily operations of the practice which includes the supervision of the team and overseeing the completion of tasks.
- Supporting veterinarians in providing the highest level of treatment and care for patients.
- Providing support and mentorship to the team.
- Administrative duties including stock control, reception as required, managing bookings/appointments, rosters and timesheets.
- Assist the lead veterinarian with the clinic’s financial management.

**To be successful for this role, you will have**:

- Certificate IV qualification (essential), with previous nursing experience in a veterinary clinic.
- Proven people management experience within the veterinary industry or a similar industry such as health/medical (would be beneficial, yet not essential).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to solve complex problems and attention to detail.
- Top notch time management/organisation skills.
- Customer service at the forefront of your mind, always.
