***This is a great opportunity for a junior or studying **theatre technician **to join a dedicated team. The successful applicant will be able to provide quality technical support with elite customer service, have a team approach and display a professional and courteous manner towards clients and work colleagues.

**STARplex **is a friendly **sports, training, arts and recreation **provider offering quality lifestyle, health, fitness and performance experiences for families in the northern region. **To be successful in this role you will have the following qualification and attributes**:

- Certificate III or greater in: Live Production; Theatre; or Event Management, or equivalent, or currently studying
- A thorough understanding of theatre craft and willingness to learn on the job
- Great people skills and the ability to provide elite customer service
- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Class 1 Drivers License
- Current DHS Working With Children Check
- Child Safe Environments - Reporting Abuse and Neglect Training/Certificate

In addition the applicant would be expected to learn and adhere to STARplex emergency procedures, follow Hewitson Theatre SOP’s and mandatory notification policies.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual with a passion for the performing arts and ability to grow our ever-increasing calendar of events and venues.

The successful applicant will be based at our Hewitson Theatre at STARplex, however will need to be able to work flexibly at other venues on our site and satellite sites.
