Senior Technician – Brisbane South

$55–$60/hr + super + bonuses | OTE $130k–$145k

Ideal Air provides specialist HVAC services in both Melbourne and Brisbane. We have an opening for a Leading hand Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician.

You will be respected for your skills, experience and problem solving abilities. You'll join a tight team of likeminded tradesmen who take pride in their work. Customer engagement, designing solutions and variety will be a normal part of your week.

What your role looks like
  • Breakdowns & diagnostics on all types of equipment - splits, ducted, package units, water cooled, chilled etc
  • Installs & changeovers across schools, multi-storey, commercial sites etc
  • Controls and programming — BMS/Central controller experience is an advantage
  • Customer engagement: You understand the problem, you can provide solutions, and customers love you
  • Leadership & mentoring: Share expertise, and guide junior techs, give back to the trade

About you
  • Fully qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician (Cert III minimum)
  • 10+ years' hands-on experience across residential and commercial work
  • Strong at diagnostics, problem-solving, communication, and customer service
  • Ambitious — you want to be involved in more than just the job, you want to be part of the whole process.
  • Balance - What you do after work matters as much as what you do at work
  • Valid work visa accepted for candidates without Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Current full driver's licence required for company vehicle operation
