AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS / APPRENTICES | CKD AUTOMOTIVE

CKD Automotive, a family-owned multi-brand dealership is on the lookout for Automotive Technicians and Apprentices to join our service hubs located at Brookvale and Mona Vale for Nissan, Subaru, and Volkswagen.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on vehicles in our well-equipped workshops. We invite automotive technicians and apprentices to apply for this role.

What you'll be doing:

Automotive Technicians

  • Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Providing advice and recommendations to customers on vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices where applicable
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Automotive Apprentices

  • Assist qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Learn to use diagnostic tools and software
  • Attend TAFE and complete required off-the-job training modules
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
  • Take the opportunity to learn and grow under expert guidance

What we're looking for:

Automotive Technicians

  • Qualified automotive technician with relevant certifications
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A team-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous learning

Automotive Apprentices

  • Strong commitment to safety - no short cuts
  • Good time management skills and attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
