Join TDC, Australia's leading video technology and production company. We're seeking an experienced Senior Video Technician to join our Sydney team and help deliver world-class live events, theatre productions, and broadcast experiences.

You'll lead the design, build, and operation of advanced video systems – from projection and LED to media-server control and automation – for some of the most exciting projects in the southern hemisphere.

We welcome UK applicants and offer relocation assistance to help you make the move to Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex video technology solutions using cutting-edge equipment.
  • Oversee technical delivery from concept through to show completion.
  • Create and interpret schematics, drawings and control systems.
  • Lead and brief onsite crew, freelancers and contractors.
  • Support R&D and contribute to innovation projects.
  • Mentor junior technicians and uphold TDC's technical standards.

What you'll bring

  • At least 5 years' experience as a professional video technician.
  • Deep knowledge of projection, LED, media-server or camera-tracking systems.
  • A proven record in technical delivery for live events, theatre or broadcast.
  • Confidence leading teams and working directly with clients.
  • A growth mindset – always learning, innovating and improving.
  • Calmness under pressure and top-tier organisational skills.
