**Job Description**:
**The Role**

We are seeking a Trade qualified Fitter or Machinist or equivalent from similar Trade background who enjoys the diversity of hands-on role of Service and aftermarket sales to start as the Service Sales WA at our Malaga branch, WA.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the responsibilities will be:

- Researching and developing new Customers who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions
- Meeting service targets and budgets. Developing realistic annual budgets in consultation with the Service & Branch Managers
- Preparing service contract proposals to identified clients
- Developing long-term relationships with Customers through managing and interpreting their requirements
- Persuading Customers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
- Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both Customer and company needs
- Producing customer quotations and following up on on-going and upcoming work
- Providing technical & other assistance to service clients
- Preparing necessary reports for management and customers
- Meeting regular service sales targets and coordinating service projects
- Providing training and producing support material for other members of the service team
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets Customer needs
- Liaising with other members of the service team and other technical experts

**Qualifications**:
**The Person**
- Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
- Fitter and Machinist Trade Certificate or equivalent from similar trade back ground i.e. Plant Mechanic
- Selling and Sales Skills
- Experience in Hydraulic Service
- Customer focused
- Proficient PC Skills
- Can Do attitude, Energetic, Action orientated
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Hands on approach
