*What is the role and what team does it sit within?*
This is an exciting entry-level role within our R&D team based in Newcastle. As a Graduate Developer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers developing minor enhancements, features, and bug fixes for our Java applications, ensuring high quality through unit testing and adherence to standards.

Essential Skills And Attributes

  • Recent graduate with a bachelors degree in either computer science, computer engineering or software engineering.
  • Experience (commercial or at University) with any of the following development languages: (Java, C#, Python)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Understanding of functional and object oriented programming paradigms
  • Demonstrable skills through university results and project work
  • Ideally you will have a natural curiosity and a demonstrated propensity for learning about a broad range of technologies;
  • Some understanding and/or practical experience in unit testing
