About the role

We're looking for a Data Analyst – Lending Systems to join our Lending Operations team. In this role, you'll transform business and lending data into clear, actionable insights, develop high-quality reporting solutions, and help drive smarter decisions and continuous improvements across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and present reporting solutions that meet business and management requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyse data trends and processes to identify opportunities for improved business performance and customer service.
- Challenge outdated or inefficient reporting practices, recommending and implementing more effective solutions.
- Ensure all reporting and presentations are accurate, fit-for-purpose, and tailored to the needs of different audiences.
- Support Lending Operations teams with workforce planning tools, reporting, and project initiatives.
- Collaborate with Lending Reporting Analysts to deliver broker origination reporting, commission reconciliation, and payment remittance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure data solutions align with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.
What we're looking for
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Power BI, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a drive to support business partners.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, mathematics, information technology, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Experience with SQL query development and data extraction.
- Knowledge or experience in lending or lending operations (desirable).
