**About the role**:
You will be a part of the Virgin Australia Business Flyer BDE team who are responsible for driving inside sales for the Business Flyer program. Your objective as a Business Development Executive will be to nurture leads, close sign ups to the program and increase revenue from existing customers. In addition, your purpose is to drive customer profitability, growth and focus on delivering customer value with best practice education of the Business Flyer program to drive revenue for Virgin Australia.
***What you’ll be doing**:
- Achieve sales budget and improve revenue growth and revenue quality in the Business Flyer program and their own portfolio
- Deliver positive commercial outcomes for the business.
- Follow up on leads and close sales to increase revenue from existing customers.
- Grow existing business of customers through various activities and client engagement.
- Convert opportunity and execute client enquiries in a timely manner.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure maximum benefit to customer is achieved.
- Enhance the businesses understanding of customers, their travel and buying behaviour.
- Develop strong business relationships with key customers and stakeholders to facilitate to meet the needs of customers
**You’ll be great in this role if you**:
- Have a proven understanding and insight to Business to Business (B2B) sales.
- High level of computer literacy and comfort in using Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as web-based analysis and CRM tools.
- Proven experience negotiating in a sales or service industry.
- Proven network of corporate or travel related contacts.
- Ability to prioritise work and respond to a high volume of customer requests and enquiries effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and operate at all customer levels while also able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners (internally and externally).
