About the role

Business Platform Services (BPS) tribe is the engine room powering our customer and banker experiences. We're designing and delivering reusable authentication experiences and business services that enable cross channel consumption and exceptional customer outcomes. We specialise in leading-edge API capabilities, digital security and high-performance systems. The Tribe operates a Managed Run model whereby a strategic delivery partner is responsible for running the Tribe’s assets, with the Tribe remaining accountable for the assets.

The role of Service Enablement Squad is to support specialisation and excellence in the Service Management discipline, evolving the Tribe’s delivery of asset stability, performance, and reliability.

Your role as a Technology Product Owner - Service Enablement will play a key leadership role across a multi-disciplinary Service Enablement squad and a partner-based Managed Run team. Your role will also be an asset owner/technology manager of the assets that your squad will manage.

Your role is to enable the Managed Run team to pursue their mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be prioritised by the squad as well as "how" the work should be completed in accordance with ANZ standards and requirements. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks with bankers and customers at the heart of their decision making, engages with other squads and Areas across the Tribe, and manages inter-dependencies.

Stakeholder management will be a large part of your role. You will be the key liaison between the Managed Run team and the rest of the Tribe, and with business stakeholders, and you will be front and centre in leading and managing day to day engagement with the partner Managed Run team. You will also work closely with the Technology Partner Management Squad to provide oversight and insights regarding Managed Run performance and effectiveness.

While this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role. You will be a culture carrier and lead with influence, galvanizing teams around their mission and supporting them to adopt a service mindset and collaborate to deliver reliable and secure systems, and a great experience for our bankers and customers.

What will your day look like

**As a Product Owner, you will be accountable for**:
Enabling and inspiring a multi-disciplinary and technically focused Squad to pursue the delivery of work.

Ensuring the work is operationally and strategically aligned to the Tribes mission

Regular collaborative engagement with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies

Galvanising the squad and external stakeholders around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver at pace - equal parts technology delivery and influencing stakeholders to continuously improve processes

Planning and prioritisation of work with Tribe performance Lead and Product Owners

Understanding the value (Customer/Business) of what the squad works on and being clear how it aligns to the Tribe/ANZ’s priorities

Ensure Delivery aligns to all non-functional and operational requirements as per tribe playbook

Monitor risk and issues

Maintain financials of the initiatives worked on by the squad

**Role Type**: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
