**Product Manager | Product Owner**- AI, Autonomy & vision systems

**Location**: Melbourne (Onsite)
- Deep-Tech Scale-Up | Real-World AI & Autonomy

This is not your typical software product role. It requires someone who understands the complexities of AI systems in the physical world and can operate as a bridge between engineering, research, and real-world use cases. You’ll be engaging with government, defence, and industry clients, translating technical capabilities into meaningful product strategies and roadmaps.

**Experience required**:

- Proven experience as a Product Manager / Owner in AI, robotics, computer vision, or autonomous systems
- Strong technical literacy across ML pipelines, sensor fusion, CV, or real-time edge deployment
- A track record of shipping complex, hardware-enabled software products
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both customers and engineering teams
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguity-heavy startup environments
- Background working closely with defence, aerospace, or mission-critical industries is highly desirable

**Responsibilities**:

- Define and shape the product roadmap for next-gen AI autonomy platforms
- Interface between technical teams and high stakes end users
- Lead product discovery, prioritisation, and customer feedback loops
- Own the backlog, work closely with ML engineers, and champion delivery
- Help translate scientific research into usable, scalable products
