**The role**:
NAB’s Major Initiatives team within Business Lending deliver innovative and transformational solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across Australia. Partnering with bankers to meet customer needs, we have been streamlining our products and processes to deliver a simpler and easier banking experience to better support our valued customers.

As part of the Major Initiatives team you will play a significant role in successfully supporting the delivery of enhancements to our Asset Finance business within the Business Lending Domain.

This is a traditional product owner role where you will be executing a range of deliverables in an agile operating environment that will make a significant difference to our bankers and customers.

**An insight of some key responsibilities for this role**:

- Stakeholder engagement and collaboration - build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain to support initiative delivery and process oversight
- Delivery Management - Delivery of initiatives to ensure safe, sustainable and compliant business delivery.
- Risk and Control Management - Monitor and manage risks and controls to ensure solutions improve operating risk profile
- Process improvement - Identify and implement improvements across the end to end process to improve banker and customer experience, simplify products and improve risk profile

Does this sound like you? Do you have:

- Product owner experience in the Banking & Finance industry
- Experience across Business Banking specifically Asset Finance
- Strong commercial and financial acumen

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate some key capabilities & experience:
Essential capabilities
- Relentless focus on outcomes and solutions
- Shareholder Engagement & Management
- Ability to develop productive relationships with Tech and non-Tech delivery
- Familiar with tooling such as Clarity, Grace, Confluence, Rally
- Strong understanding of frontline banking systems and processes
- Strong understanding of regulatory obligations
- Strong agile delivery background

Experience
- Previous Product Owner experience
- Agile delivery and ways of working
- Process Improvement mindset and experience
- Project Management experience
- Leading cross-functional teams to accomplish outcomes
