**Position Overview**

Reporting to the Governance, Risk & Controls (GRC) Manager, the SOX & Internal Controls Lead is responsible not only for ensuring SOX compliance in accordance with Group standards but also in ensuring the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls across the organisation as part of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework and good governance.

**Key responsibilities**
- Establish and maintain policies and internal controls to ensure ongoing compliance with SOX requirements as specified by the TTI Global Group including design & operational effectiveness
- In Collaboration with GRC team, establish and maintain policies and internal controls to promote the strengthening of a good governance framework and culture
- Support the planning and execution of our internal audit programme in collaboration with GRC team to assess and identify control gaps within processes and work with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation action
- Support the annual external audit process by ensuring that audit items are tracked and completed by agreed timelines
- Collaborate with GRC Analyst to monitor the status of the Risk Management Register and progress action items as it relates to internal controls
- Participate in cross-functional business and operational projects where related internal control input is required
- Ad-hoc assistance to GRC Manager as required

**About you**

Qualifications:

- Qualified member of CPA, CA or CIMA
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

**Experience**:

- 5+ years post qualification experience demonstrating:

- SOX experience particularly in the implementation phase;
- Experience working across a range of internal control disciplines and/or Internal Audit;
- Exposure to FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment;
- Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders of varying levels;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills & Expertise
- Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) essential
- Problem solving and analysis skills essential
- SAP knowledge advantageous
