**THE COMPANY**
Our client is a global leader in the packaging, paper, glass, and resource recovery industries, providing high quality, innovative and sustainable packaging products and solutions. They offer a full lifecycle of packaging capability and have been leading packaging innovation in Australia for more than a decade.

**THE PROJECT**
Brand new $115 million glass recycling and remanufacturing furnace project in Penrith NSW.

**YOUR ROLE**:
Our Client is seeking a highly motivated individual to support their Commercial Team in the administration of Contract and Subcontract project timelines, compliance, and deliverables for a major construction project in Penrith NSW. As part of the Project team, you will provide contract support for claims, variations, and compliance, and develop and maintain contract documentation, correspondence, and registers.

The project and our client needs A talented commercial officer to assist the PM, however with a particular focus on cost management and ensuring payments are made in line with the executed contracts, therefore freeing the PM to execute and manage the entire project.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with reviewing Contractor claims for accuracy
- Maintain the budget across the project
- Prepare and maintain project correspondence and contractual registers
- Support the Project and Commercial Team in preparing and reviewing purchasing requests and tracking of orders and services
- Expedite payment claims in accordance with the terms of agreements
- Liaise with key stakeholders to manage procurement of equipment and services for major projects
- Communicate transparently and in a timely manner on project procurement-related elements to key stakeholders
- Establish new vendors for the project

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Undergraduate Commercial/Business qualification
- Project/construction administration experience.
- High level of Experience in SAP or similar finance system.
- Financial analysis experience in construction.
- Microsof t software - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Finance/ Contract and Accounting Experience (essential)
