**About The Role**:
In this full-time role you will work closely with the Head of State Client Relationships to provide high quality client service, business development and relationship management activities to QIC’s Queensland government and related client base.

Key accountabilities include:

- You will co-ordinate, assist and in some cases prepare relevant client investment strategy work ensuring appropriate communication between the client, State Investments and other relevant areas of QIC
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the investment products and capabilities used to build portfolios for QIC’s Government client base
- Prepare and present regular investment updates to selected clients, their boards, committees, and consultants
- Keep up to date with emerging investment trends, ESG initiatives and relevant products
- Provide insights and investor strategy preferences to support QIC’s product innovation
- Maintain a coordinated and planned approach to relationship management of your allocated portfolio of Queensland Government Clients
- Negotiation/renegotiation of key client commercial terms for existing investments
- Build networks with Government and industry peers to support business development activities
- Track, capture, monitor and maintain accurate client information, insights, activities, requests, communication preference and engagement plans in CRM (Dynamics)

**About You**:
You demonstrate a high level of initiative, drive and professionalism and ability to “think, question and challenge” with a client-led commercial mindset. A self-starter with strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.

With aligned tertiary qualifications (Business, Finance, Commerce or Economics), you are seeking to develop your career and will present with:

- Post-graduate experience preferably in investment management, professional services, or relevant public sector roles
- Interest in funds management and financial markets
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence both within and outside of QIC
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and reporting tools (such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
- Understand the importance of, and maintain confidentiality where required
