**The Role**
Are you passionate and interested in people, culture and workforce planning? Do you build strong stakeholder relationships? We are looking for an individual who will help develop Navy’s Australia Public Service (APS) workforce planning activities and support Navy’s APS culture and people.

Navy is required to deliver crucial outcomes to support Defence’s mission. This requires careful planning of its APS workforce to ensure we have the right people, in the right jobs, at the right time. A key component of Navy’s workforce planning involves providing a positive workplace culture for its people. By helping Navy be a great place to work, Navy wishes to retain its current people and attract new valued employees.?

Key duties to support these activities in this role include:

- Navy’s APS Culture Plan and its initiatives
- Navy’s APS Strategic Workforce Plan
- Change management
- Navy input to strategic documents.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Navy Australian Public Service (APS) Workforce Intelligence and Planning is a Navy-wide resource that is responsible for various workforce planning activities for Navy’s APS workforce. We operate as the conduit between Navy’s teams and Defence People Group and other Defence areas on APS workforce matters. We work with Navy’s Divisions to achieve workforce planning objectives and are the APS workforce Subject Matter Experts within Navy.

Due to our large remit (whole of Navy), the Directorate has extensive visibility and stakeholder networks throughout Navy and across the Department. We offer the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in HR, strategic planning, change management and more.

The Directorate is located in Canberra, ACT and offers access to flexible working conditions to support work life balance and an attractive remuneration package, including a generous superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
