The Clinical Pharmacology Trainee is involved in direct patient care (Toxicology), clinical consultative work
(Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, clinical consultations and requests for information concerning aspects of drug
therapy) and promotion of safe and effective use of medicines. Configurations of training which combine Clinical
Pharmacology training with training in Clinical Research or Chemical Pathology (possible dual RACP and RCPA
recognition) are available as part of the Trainee position.
