AGL’s Retail Transformation ambition is to establish a customer-centric, digital, lean and flexible business underpinned by leading contemporary technology, and embedding best practice ways of working. As the Organisational Design Specialist within the Retail Transformation team, you will be part of the team designing a new holistic operating model, including organisation structures to meet market demands and business vision. Your focus will be to partner with the consulting team, P&C partners and the business to design and deliver future-fit organisational structures, building organisational capability in key areas across the business and ensuring clear individual roles and responsibilities.

What you’ll be doing:
- Aligning to the new operating model objectives and informed by assessments / data, propose new or evolved organisational models, such as adjusting hierarchies, creating new departments/teams, or shifting roles and responsibilities.- Ensuring that the organisation’s design aligns with its business goals, such as growth, innovation, or cost efficiency.- Analysing the existing organisational structure, workflows, and team dynamics to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.- Collaborating with senior leaders, HR teams, and other stakeholders to ensure buy-in on the proposed changes and providing input into plans that guide the organisation through the transition to a new operating model, including managing employee expectations and addressing resistance.- Identifying and mitigating risks related to the redesign, such as employee resistance, loss of productivity, or unclear roles, as well as assisting in implementing contingency plans to address potential disruptions during and after implementation.

What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in business management, HR, or related discipline required.- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large diverse business, coupled with strong commercial business acumen.- Strong planning, project and change management skills, coupled with adaptive thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills and written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to manage ambiguity with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style.
