Quality Assurance Lead

As Quality Assurance Lead you will report to the VP of Upstream Supply Chain and you will be in charge of introducing, continuously developing and maintaining the Food Safety & Quality Assurance framework as well as the Quality Management System across all HelloFresh Australia and BeCool DCs (HelloFresh owned refrigerated last mile logistics).

**You will**
- Lead the QC teams in our 3 DCs, ensuring quality standards and specifications are adhered to by our suppliers and we offer highest quality to our customers,
- Formulate and organise local policies, processes, work instructions and verification activities following HelloFresh quality, HACCP, regulatory, GMP and lean manufacturing standards,
- Collaborate and partner with the Int Safety, Quality and Operational Team (SQOC), ensuring int policies, procedures and initiatives are implemented locally as required,
- Set the department Roadmap, OKRs and KPIs over several years taking into account both the business goals as well as the creation of synergies between all brands and business partners,
- Liaise and align with both local and global key stakeholders (e.g. aligning local OKRs with the Int SQOC team outputs annually),
- Challenge the status-quo and define continuous improvement path to drive professionalism both at all department level and transversely across all HFANZ DCs and BeCool,
- Lead and organise the team, its budget and continuous personal development, allocate projects and ensure deliverables are duly delivered meeting the required level of expectations,
- Lead and organize all external audits for all HelloFresh AU DCs and BeCool,
- Lead by example in all aspects of your work, position and seniority.

**You have / are**
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams of various size in delivery of services to customer, including leading remote or offshore resources,
- Graduate degree in relevant domain preferred,
- 5 to 10 years of quality assurance experience in a high pace or (preferably) manufacturing industry, half of this time in a managerial position,
- Substantial knowledge of certifications in both quality management systems standards (such as ISO 9001) and food safety standards (such as HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000) as well as all applicable Australian food regulations as required,
- Substantial understanding of lean manufacturing, Quality Control management and ideally be a certified auditor,
- Substantial understanding in Food Safety / Food Quality and/or Regulatory relations,
- Understanding of agile development methodology, in theory, and practice,
- Effective leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Excellent analytical and computer skills,
- Must be honest, ethical, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.

**Duration**:Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

**Location**:Chippendale Head Office, Travel to AU DCs represents ~30%. #LI-hybrid
